Bitez: (40 mins from Bodrum airport). Bitez lays 5 miles to the west of Bodrum and roughly around 2 miles east of Gumbet. Bitez is therefore an ideal resort for those who like it a little quieter at night. The Bay of Bitez is a particular favourite beach in the area, with gently shelving sands (which is ideal for children) and a good reputation for windsurfing.
